What is this hole on the bumper?

I saw this tab halfway pushed in. I go to touch it and it falls inside the bumper. This is for an e63 m6. I can post there yet because of my new account. What is this tab and how do I get it out?

looks like your park distance control sensor.

Deff parking distance control you might want to get it out of there.

Will be tough to fish out. Probably want to remove the E63 bumper.
