Hi guys. I'm currently having issues reading my CIC after a retrofit. Everything works, I just can't read it. Could the emulator be causing the issue? I also tried installing a combox but that can't be read either. I know my cable works because I have used it to come about 10 other cars and just did an Alpina flash in a friends car. I can't seem to get it to read. I was able to change #0909 to #0311 in VO and write Fa and add $6va, $6vc $644 $614 $615. Just can't get into Media and CIC. I have the latest Daten files.

Yes, I see both in NCS.

I still cant get them to read and I have no sound. If i take out the COMBOX, and add the most loop, sound comes back. Is my Combox bad?

Maybe you can check by trying another combox...but the only way to really tell if your wiring is correct which might be the other cause is to check that first.

The only ECU that NCSExpert will read is my CAS. Every other ECU I try to read results in a a COAPI 2000 error in ediabas or ecu error message. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Im Running out of idea. I have been trying to code my e90 335xi, and i was trying to change my DRL to the Angel eyes. I am able to connect, read the ECU, when i make changes I am able to export it to the FSW_PSW.MAN file successfully (I open the file to verify the changes). Then I try to execute the changes, everything appears to me going through. I do not receive any error messages. I am told wen the coding is active and when it as ended. The car even responds dimming the lights and sometimes chimes.

Once it is done, i turn the car off and turn it back on...I take a look and my high beams are on as the daytime running lights. When i try to make execute my changes, it seems to be reverting it to the stock settings. I've tried updating the DATEN files to 60.1 from bimmergeeks.net and i get the same issue.

I have a 64 bit Win 7 machine and Im fresh out of ideas! Any suggestions?

Post your .trc and .man file here so we can see what you're changing.

I am using Expert Mode, the other option is CNCoding. How would i be able to turn on manipulation?

Use CNCoding, as its for feature coding. Expert mode is for factory/VO coding.

Can someone link me to the right Daten files for a 2006 330XI, CIC IDRIVE?
I did the same thing as many of you, with the dead Kombi gauges, now I need SG_Daten files or something, but I don’t know if the files need to be newest, or if newest is too new. Or even where to get them. I tried a Mega.nz repo but I ran out of bandwidth and I don’t want the server to timout and bonk me.

Also, for flashing (using winFSP or whatever it’s called), will the KOMBI ecu daten already be there, or do I have to download it?

I have been trying to code my e90 335xi, and i was trying to change my DRL to the Angel eyes. I am able to connect, read the ECU, when i make changes I am able to export it to the FSW_PSW.MAN file successfully (I open the file to verify the changes). Then I try to execute the changes, everything appears to me going through. I do not receive any error messages. I am told wen the coding is active and when it as ended. The car even responds dimming the lights and sometimes chimes. Once it is done, i turn the car off and turn it back on...I take a look and my high beams are on as the daytime running lights. When i try to make execute my changes, it seems to be reverting it to the stock settings. I've tried updating the DATEN files to 60.1 from bimmergeeks.net and i get the same issue. I have a 64 bit Win 7 machine and Im fresh out of ideas! Any suggestions?

I did the same thing as many of you, with the dead Kombi gauges, now I need SG_Daten files or something, but I don’t know if the files need to be newest, or if newest is too new. Or even where to get them. I tried a Mega.nz repo but I ran out of bandwidth and I don’t want the server to timout and bonk me. Also, for flashing (using winFSP or whatever it’s called), will the KOMBI ecu daten already be there, or do I have to download it? Thanks in advance!
