LCI mirrors on Pre LCI E92

I have bought a pair of LCI mirrors for Pre LCI E92. My question is not if they fit or not cause they do perfectly. But I cant operate the mirrors with the controls... do they need to be coded ?

I would assume that it should be a simple plug and play. Afaik it's just a different shape mirror.

did you make sure that both mirrors have the same options/features? iirc it's just a plug and play install like joey said.

No... there were no specs on the mirror i bought... if they dont have the same options maybe i could hack it ? but the pin goes perfectly with the wiring of the car.

I just want to control the mirror with the switch. to move up down and sides.. thats not working. I dont want any of the other stuff.

Idk why lci mirrors didnt work out for you, I have just installed 2012 m3 autodimming and autofolding mirrors on my pre lci 335i and they work perfectly and their just pnp..
Did you correctly plug the wire? Do they fold or no? if no did you check if your lci mirrors are defective ?
