Bodywork/Detailing - West Sussex area
So the car is now back with me full time in the UK. It's missed a nasty, grit ridden UK winter but gained a few unfortunate marks in the process of being parked in Spain (quite literally, 3 or 4 times in 12 months it was parked 'in public' and it gained front and rear marks!)
So I'd like to treat it to some cosmetic botox and get all the minor scratches and swirls treated. Would anyone recommend anyone in West Sussex to have a look at my baby? I think there might be a front respray involved though, as stonechips/lacquer is quite promonent there... then a detail to bring it back to its full glory. |

Thanks Tony,
I'll check it out, I remember seeing him on Fifth Gear, knows his stuff! I'm going to get all the little marks and stone chips removed first, someone like chipsaway or revive (or a local bodyshop place) so it's ready to get detailed. |

After talking with quite a few detailers I decided to try out Drive'n'Shine, they have a great reputation and did a good deal on the things I needed doing.
Talked to the chipsaway/revive people and came to the conclusion that although the chips and little scuffs were only sleight, they were in seperate places and therefore a panel respray would only bring the best results. As I am a bit weird like that I'd rather spend the cash and have it done right, so it's having BOTH front and rear bumper resprays and a complete detail (including doing the hubs) done. They just came to collect the car so I'll give you guys a photo review once completed. I'm excited to see the results, it's a few days work so should get it back on Wednesday or Thursday. |
