brands lap times

does anyone have an idea as to what is a good lap time for a track day round the short circuit at brands? ive done a 1-03 in our old e36 325i but most cars are going an awful lot quicker but dont know how that relates to a lap time

That's good going Jeff,63 secs is respectable given the car.

The DTM cars were lapping around 42secs last wk/end,so if you get a lap at around mid 50 secs you'd be doing good.

I've never timed myself round the Indy, but as you know it's a great track and quite a technical circuit, get a line wrong and bang goes your time.

Hi Ian thats encouraging, we took the rx7 on thursday evening to give it a try. wasnt overimpressed with the power and think it needs a bit of work but at the end of the evening my son was doing 59 secs for 3 laps. forgot to say the 325 was on slicks which give you about 3 secs a lap.

The Indy circuit lap record is 38 odd secs,so your estimated lap time is very, very impressive
