Yeah, i agree. I've always got > 10% for every Beemer (either mine or negotiating for a friend).

Dont forget you can unsettle them too. Make them sell you the car. If you feel like you are trying to buy it off them, perhaps come back another day

Wow you get 10% off. How in the world do you manage to get such a nice discount. Which dealership?

Hopefully with the recent rate rise they might be more willing to negotiate on our terms! Though I don't know how much it actually affects car dealers...

You sure know how to get your way with sales reps in dealerships.

Col crawford BMW won't budge for a discount on a coupe. LoL this is my second dealer that wouldn't budge. Except that Col Crawford did it in a better manner to Alto. I think i might need to definately get out of the sydney area and visit other dealerships. I just don't have the time. For the ppl who took 10% off there cars what tactic did you use? and which dealerships?

Cheers

I tried offering $110,000 drive away for 2 different E92 335i demos at different dealerships here in SE Qld (Motorline and Toowoomba) that are listed at ~$124,000 (the motorline 335i demo has 3500km on it already!), but Motorline said "You're talking 325i prices. Is that more your budget?". The Toowoomba dealership said $120k. Seems like they will be holding out for top dollar for a little while yet.

Like I mentioned in my earlier post Worthington BMW did the best deal for us and seemed pleased to always negotiate. It is only a bit over 1hr north of Sydney so not hard to get to, they say they have a lot of Sydney buyers. We could sort of sense their pride in the way they were now doing more volume than nearly all the long established Sydney dealerships.

PM me and I will give you the name of the person to speak to as she seemed willing to negotiate that extra bit to get our deal.
