Well Done Sytner Sunningdale

Following my recent buying experience, I just wanted to show my appreciation to Daniel & Roger at Sytner Sunningdale.

Really good service and highly recomended!

No!

I've just had so many crap experiences buying cars from dealers and thought the service was unusually good - good enough in fact, to make me want to post here.

Plus, I'm not sure a police officer would be much use to them...

Shame that their Service department don't want to answer the phone, though!

Well I can't comment on that - but I was kind of hoping the level of service would continue throughout the ownership! What are your general experiences with their servicing department then?

when i purchased my 335d a couple of years ago they were v good
it was new years eve and i had arranged for bmw insurance to give 7 days cover (free) as they do but as usual with bmw insurance things didnt go according to plan and the cover note didnt arrive so the vehicle couldnt be taxed so i couldnt take it the 100 miles home to pompey ( I HAD GONE UP BY TRAIN)
they lent me their new x5 for the weekend until it was resolved and then arrived down in it to swap over vehicles
top service
AND i notice they have a nice M6 reasonably priced too.......

I've used them for the last 4 cars - about 6 years in fact. Found them to be head and shoulders above the other 3 or 4 local dealers with regard to sales.

The service department generally don't quite match up in my experience but it would be unfair to comment on occasional blemishes, other than to say that after 6 calls of 5+ minutes on hold this week, Coopers will be doing my Insp service!

Generally though, there's fewer places (if any) I'd rather go to source a dealer car.

Hi Captain Chaos,

Apologies that you haven't been impressed. I would be happy to enquire about your inspection for you . Perhaps you'll consider giving us another chance?

I always phone them first, I prefer to look at the bigger picture and I'm not one who fires off the klaxon at the first faux pas. Wasn't having a dig on the thread either, just opining that the service dept are ok but the sales guys really do excel. (I wonder if that's related to the fact that they're on seperate sites and maybe subject to different direction/culture? May be one for you guys to look into on a quiet day!)

And on a related note, rather than join this post to the welcome thread, well done for you guys doing what you're doing. It'll provide valuable info for the business I'm sure, and also a valuable ear for the forum members on here. If it works as it has done so far, it can only be positive for both, and that can only be a good thing.

I will pass on your feedback and with a little work things will get better on the service side, we're always looking for ways to improve your experience with us

Nothing to complain about in the service department (for the last 3 years) and have two MOTs and service booked in the next two months.

The only good experience in sales was the “Alpina guy” (sorry, can’t remember the name). Justine, 3 out of 5 from me and her boss even less, but I bought the car at the end anyway. Not sure if I’d go back again though.
