Is it two DVD's? Usually you have to unzip (2) huge files which expand to something like 10g-30gig. Then there's 1 main installer. After the install you can edit the INI files of NCSExpert, WinKFP tools to put things into English.

The files are in English

It's the instruction vid sent with it. It's in Chinese. I've watched the vid and it look like lots is being clicked. I just can't follow the vid as everything on his PC is in Chinese 😄

I've found the easiest install for BMW Standard Tools is to download:

"BMW CODING PACK MAY 2013"

Then download the latest E89 daten files and update using:

"BMW CODING TOOL"

Both can be found by Google and both have clear instructions inside...

It will. All the ODB cables are the same USB to Serial converters with a chipset on the end to covert to K-D-can protocol. Hence it is not a proprietary setup....it's an industry standard. Weather or not you got a fake or real is the only question.

please help

I'm confident once I have the bmw standard tools I will be able to work it out but...

I cant download it. even the box.com link on here does not seem to work.

All I need is a clean download that I don't have to sign up for.

can you help?

all I want to do is read any fault codes that pop up (i.e DPF warning, see what sensor is faulty)
