Question Question about Upgrading Wheels: 2006 330i

I still have stock 17's. I was looking at the upgrade options between 18s and 19s. Would I have to make any changes to my car to fit 18s on it. If I wanted to go full 19s, what mods would I need to make? The car hasnt been lowered, but I plan to in the future.

We do have a lot of potholes around here, should that sway my decision as to size?

18s and 19s will fit no problem you just have to make sure your rims are the right offset and that you have the right size tires for them. If you have a lot of potholes in your area I would not recommend anything over 18.

Thanks. Can you school me on what an offest is, and what offest do I need for 18's?

18x8.5 et30 front
18x9.5 et25 rear

That setup will work perfectly. There is nothing else you would need to do to your car.

Agreed. Bigger the rims lower the profile of the tire. 18's is my max bc of potholes

I was looking at these but the offsets dont match http://www.xstheticmotorsports.com/p...r_v710_bmw.htm

Also, should I buy spacers to give it a more aggressive look? Will that change the offset?

Yes they will push your wheels out by what ever number of millimeters they are set for.

You can fit 18s and 19s no problem on your e90 without any fender work. Please feel free to PM me if you need any sizing help or want to inquire about a specific wheel I can help with.
