Hey Volks, I am thinking of getting the Autobahn Exotics exhaust for my E90, couple of questions. First, how much would the dealership charge for an install? Second, how much would YOU charge for an install. It is a full bolt on, DP back exhaust. They said all you need is some jack stands or a lift (I have neither) and a few tools. Finally, since my car is a lease, I am somewhat leery of putting it on at all, but if I did, I would want to keep the stock intact for reinstall at the end of the lease.

TN-do you have a garage? i can get some jack stands..the dealership will want an arm and a leg...as far as the lease goes i wouldnt worry about it as far as exhaust goes but its no issue to keep the stock exhaust intact when removing it..though it is large to store mind you! id charge alot less than the dealer..probably around half or less haha...ill ask tomarrow what we charge and send you a PM that work?

Sounds good...yeah, I've got a garage but it is a one car in an apartment complex, so there isn't a lot of room around the car, if that matters.

Alvin at BMW Nashville does an OK job, but he's only done 'wax' for me, no paint correction.
There is a guy from Autopia, JRock or JRock1, if I recall, who does some decent work locally, though I've never personally seen his work. Email him for some pics or a meet-up. I plan on having him apply some 'wax' next month. |

Well, had two asshats try and race me on the way home from the Preds game tonight. One in a IS300, that actually could have killed someone the way he was driving. Not sure if he was trying to race, or was just a terrible driver. The other was in a gray Mazda 3, not sure if it was a MS3 or not, with rims, exhaust, and the requisite performance shop and online forum stickers plastered all over it. Neither stood a chance

I was checking up on Preds game from Puerto Rico,
did Too2 get two 5 minute pentalties for fighting 2 different guys? Oh still still a 3-0 win with Ellis stopping 36 shots. Be careful of both the MS3 and IS300. With 6K in an IS300, the SRT Turbo kit makes that car go. The MS3 with like a Boost Controller and like 2 other little mods is in the 12's

911, yeah, the IS300 was stock for sure.... the MS3, if it was an MS3, was pretty quick. I am pretty sure it was modified.
Oh, and yes, it was 2 fights back to back.... Tootoo is a beast. Volks, any word on the exhaust install? |

Interesting. From the picture they look like gloss black. I'm sure they look great in person. Maybe get some black or cf roundels for them?
