e90pilot, do you know if a bavtech scan tool can detect the DISA values?

The biggest thing I'd say is to label every wire, since there's a group of four in the back (they're a bitch, by the way), and you want them in the proper order. Otherwise, it's pretty much "unbolt what you need to get at it, unbolt it, don't force anything, installation is the reverse of removal".

I have pictures of mine somewhere. I can probably get the up early next week, since I'll be hitting ACBF in Boston this weekend. Keep an eye out for a red 325 with Vermont plates.
Are you talking about the green arrow in this pic? http://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/tech...arge/pic22.jpg

I recently did the intake manifold swap but I didn't pay attention to the order of those connectors. I just connected them randomly.

Are you sure there must be an order? Since I can't find related info elsewhere and the car drives without problem.

If you do know the order could you share with us?

Thanks!

I dont remember needing anything else. I have a couple of pics, but I stopped taking them after a while.

The hardest part I found was the crank case hoses. I broke both installing. The next hardest is to unhook the crank case plugs that hook into the back of the manifold near the firewall. You will also need to mark them so you dont get them backwards. Another issue I ran into was the

Part #14 is the power plug Im talking about for the vent hoses. Another issue I ran into was the #9 bracket that has a distro block clipped to it. You almost have to break the tabs to remove it.

You can see the plugs for the vent hoses in this pic
Are you sure there's an order for the connectors?

I just did this swap with the AA tune. New manifold only had a single pcv connection w/the sensor, and my original was dual. I got both off easily with long 90° and long 45° needle nose (did not remove at firewall) Plugged the rear connecting hose, and put everything else back together as normal. I also paid no attention to plug order, but did unplug my battery beforehand. Hardest parts of the swap were the connecting hose near the tb, and the two screws that held the big wire harness. Overall, this was super easy thanks to the many who did this before, I'm stoked to have a little extra punch from the car!

I know this is digging up old news, but with original exhaust going on my 328, I put in aFe hfc headers, M-PE and am in the middle of trying to get some catless mid-pipes that work. During all of this, the 3-stage intake manifold came to mind and possibly doing an air intake on it as well (so manifold and intake), followed by a custom tune. Anyone have numbers on something like this? Just wondering if the 3-stage is worth the $$ on a N52B30 ('07 328xi man-date 11/06). I have a lot of cars, including an M, so it's not a "buy a 335" thing, it's just whether it is worth the additional $1000-1500

The 3 stage manifold with a proper tune is going to give you more power than all the other mods your doing combined....

It's the first & best step in getting more power out of your n52.
