Rain performance is my main criteria as well. The fact is that I rarely drive near the limits of adhesion in dry weather but hydroplane resistance and wet road performance is something that I would take advantage of very often.
Would it be better to buy 3 sets of Michelen PSS in 5 years or get something cheaper like Bridgestone RE670's and replace them every year? The cost would be about the same and you would always have deep tread for hydroplane resistance. I have the PS2 run-flats and I have to say they perform very well...if they weren't so expensive I might consider staying with them, despite their being run-flats. |

I've replaced the stock RF with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport and they feel like butter! Very sticky, very smooth on road and pot holes. Best tires ever!
