Half my post can be PMs, but they won't let me. My IATs don't go higher than 90 in this weather, love it.

Florida gets that hot sticky weather, I bet you maintain 130 even with upgraded FMIC?

Daily driving with the Helix FMIC, I never see IAT's over 110F in 90-100F weather. (And I view this in real time with my P3 gauge). |

yeah, DCI does get that hot engine bay temps. But I prefer that over a drop in, need that suction.

Yeah, just testing to see how fast I can go with the stock box. With the OTS Stage 2+FMIC map, I have gone low 12's@116-117mph. I want to see how I do with the OTS E30 map from Cobb on stock box before upgrading though.

Also has anybody else found that once you try the new race maps and firmware that you don't trap any higher than the 2+ maps? and then when going back to the 2+ maps you cant even come close to what you originally used to do on the 2+, and now find you have to use the race map to achieve what you normally were able to do on the 2+ maps??? Ragingpanda, let us know how things turn out. |

Are you saying that the old v301 Stage 2+ map still give you better results than the v402 Stage 2+ maps? |

When I first flashed the e30 map, I wasn't overly impressed, but as time passed it really woke up and feels more powerful and smoother than my old v301. I'll have to test it though to see if my butt dyno is accurate lol. |

Datalog - 2nd Opinion
I would appreciate if anyone would look at my datalogs from last week. They are on the OTS E30 beta maps. My mods are DCI, FMIC, DPs, stock everything else. Outside air temp was 78 degrees.
I did not see anything unusual except what appeared to be noise in the higher end. ST & LT fuel seemed OK per Cobb's warning. Thank you in advance!! |

Also, it is best to reset the log lists and add STFT and LTFT bank 1 is fine. I would like to see the TPS, Throttle Position. To ensure you are not getting any throttle closures. you want to see 80.98 all the way from WOT. it is a bit normal to see timing correction after shift into 4th. Having timing corrections across 3 or less @ 3.38* and lower is ok. Assuming this was a 3rd gear pull into 4th? I would keep an eye on Cyl #4, if it consistent with over 3.38 try swapping the coil to another cyl. and see if it follows, if so get a new coil, if not, it may be a SP. but really you are ok, especially if you had not got any misfires. Just keep an eye. I was getting close to 6* and getting misfires. Also, if you are good with ATR you can adjust the fuel scaler, but that is out of my comfort zone. Also here is a good read: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=696472

My blend has been 4 gallons of E85 and 10 gallons of 93. I used a 10% 93 octane factor on one of the online mixture calculators, What channel would you recommend removing, because I'm at the limit as-is. It was a 3rd gear pull into 4th. |
