New Century BMW Club Track Day - December 6th

I just got the letter after getting home from the meet today. Just like last year, New Century BMW is holding another track event for its customers. You have to get the letter and confirmation number to sign up, but here is the event details

Who: New Century BMW and Speedtrial USA
Where: Streets of Willow
When: Saturday, December 6th
Config: Not stated but im pretty sure its CW.
How much: $10 (and im sure the $10 is only for gate fee)

Perfect for all the track junkies to get a cheap day at the track. And even better for those that never went to a driving event and want to try it out. For $10, it doesnt get much better.

Just wanted to see who is going. Ill start the list. Btw, please dont add your name to the list if you are not serious about coming. Their are always people saying they want to come but when push comes to shove, they bail last minute.

1. l4wr3nc3 - intermediate
2. Picky Vicky - beginner

I agree...no love for outsiders.

Caution to all of you planning to attend...my experiences with STUSA have all been terrible. I stopped attending their events because I felt they were patently unsafe. Before placing your cars and your lives in their hands, make 100% certain that nobody but your group will be allowed on track at the same time. Also ensure that passing rules are strictly enforced. Finally I would want to be 100% certain instructors will be provided for everybody, not just a follow the leader style of teaching.

I think it's a trick for everyone who bought their bimmers from there to go track the car. When you''re there they will write down the VIN #s of each car on the track and will void their warranty and flag their car in the system for any future warranty service. lol j/k.

When filling out the registration form, theres actually a section for modifications lol. But the weirdest question is where they ask you about your religious preference

oh i forgot to mention, when filling out the form, in the section about illnesses, dont randomly check shit because you cant uncheck it. Last time i ran with STUSA, i was kidding around a checked a few boxes. And then i realized that you cant uncheck it. Kinda weird having to write a email to a stranger explaining that you are infact not a hemophiliac diabetic with contacts and dentures.

HEY Jason (or Lawrence), it's me (Graphite 135i from Streets of Willow)...
Will they allow other BMWs to attend this event that are:
1) e82
2) purchased from another dealership?

Thanks!

+1 to what John said. Basically you have to have bought from New Century, or go to it for service or parts etc etc. I guess if you do one of those you will automatically be enrolled in the NCBMW Club. And to get into the event, they would have to have sent you a letter in the mail with a specific ID for yourself to register. From what i heard when they held this event last time, it was completely full so i dont think "outsiders" will be allowed to run.
