yeah the sports are an aggresive drop on the e92 and e93 not so much on the e90 though ... race springs are fun as long as you dont put expensive stuff oon your front end lol

no shocks, no deal !!!!
it WILL feel like u'r driving a civic with springs cut into half !! i haven't even driven the car that much since i had dropped it with H&R sports coz the ride is SO bouncy.. OK i admit cornering is way better than stock but ride quality was totally lost. also put in mind that there is no special kit for the E93 from H&R !! it's the same one for the E90 which will fit but will drop the car a little bit more from the rear. here is a pic of my car with the H&R sports on.. P.S. no one car ride in the back !!!! lol |

I REALLY hope mine doesn't feel like a civic!! (been there, done that! ...at 17, aww my little hatchback <3) Regardless of your less-than-satisfying outcome of the Springs, it looks friggin' awesome!!!

Good choice with the sports over the race springs. Given that it's an E93, you'll have more of a drop than the coupes. As for ride quality, I wouldn't expect to have a great ride with the OEM shocks. They're not valved for that low a ride height and will be bouncy. But if you're ok with that, it's all good. Let us know your impressions once installed.

Yea, I totally anticipate a little bit of bounciness following the install... I think I'll be okay with it, otherwise an upgrade will be in order sooner than later! I will absolutely post pics and feedback as soon as they are installed Thanks for your help and input everyone!!!!

car looks great and NJ roads are fine as long as you drive cautiously! Me and few others in this area are slammed and we're ok so far

Seriously, have you checked the inside of your rims to make sure they are round? I thing a lot of us with crappy-roads/lower-cars/large-rims have bent rims and don't know it. ---------------------- Boy, those heavy, heavy e93s sure sit low on those springs. I can't see how that would really drive/handle good if the springs are designed for a car that is 500lbs lighter. Looks sweet though!

Stephanie....It looks as though you like to mod your car...Why in the world would you not go with a full suspension like coilovers...Those stock shocks will not last long enough and you are going to pay the price again to have the suspension removed to fix the blown shocks...My vote is neither the H&R sport or race and get yourself what the car deserves....Either change to the H&R springs whether race or sport and get some new shocks that are adjustable...Just my 2 cents..

Happens... Especially with the Race because the struts are SO compressed (unless you have aftermarket shocks...)
My Sports are creating my struts to get progressively worse too... But I don't mind too much because the H&R's were just temporary...
