Seems like most of you believe this car is some high end car. Get your head out of your asses people, it's just a 3 series BMW. nothing special about it. Don't act like im a spoiled little fuck because I have one

Gods, I'm starting to feel like a Grandad on here.....

33, and I've owned my '09 335i for just about a month.... and I love it, especially after owning a '00 528i for the last 2 years.

I'm enjoying the upgrade

First of all, for anyone hating on this kid having a 335i at 17, you should seriously rethink what you've said. I don't know if his parents gave him the car or not, but I'm pretty sure if someone offered to give you a 335i you wouldn't say no. Stop being envious of what he has just because he didn't work for it. That doesn't make him spoiled, that makes you a hypocrite cause you'd take the car too if you were offered it. I think you should learn to earn what you have instead of having it handed to you, but who's to say he didn't earn it himself? Regardless, stop hating. I'm 18 and I bought my car myself.. that doesn't mean I should be jealous of someone who was given one at a younger age.

I don't think anyones hating...Just pointing out the fact that some people earn their shit and others are handed down luxuries from their moms and pops. I saved until I could buy outright after I also bought a house first (priorities). Nothing to be ashamed of, but on the other hand it's nothing to brag about. But congrats on getting your first ride, your parents definitely hooked you up. Its definitely a fun car. (oh and to whoever said oh its just a 3 series like its nothing, if you wanna buy me another one ill be glad to take one just pm me)

To be fair, do you think your current car will be worth all that much more than $2,500 when she turns 15 or 16 (I don't know license or permit laws for your state)? It will be a 10 year old car and I can't imagine that exuding arrogance and entitlement from her. It's a good, safe car for a new driver. Just food for thought.

Yeah I think people are forgetting here that we're talking about a 7 year old car. For what we paid, there are much worse alternatives that nobody would be making a big deal about. I was given a simple offer: get your GPA to a 4.0 and you can have a bimmer. So I got my shit together and bumped from a 3.5 to a 4.05 in one semester. I know this doesn't count as work so to say, but the effort is still there. And btw, I still had to pay for any cost over 15k and all modifications are coming out of my bank account, so it's not like I'm just hanging out here driving a BMW cause my dad bought it for me. I do have a lot put into this car for what a high school student can really do

If you don't think a BMW is a high end car, then you are living a very privileged life. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, there's just a reason BMW is regarded as a luxury brand.
Anyway, 27.

Since this is an ego thread(I know, I was part of the last one a few years ago) I'll continue to add to the useless posts: bought a 2005 330i when I was 21 back in 07. Bought my 2007 335i in 09. I'm 28 now as of this month and in the last two years had posession of the 330i, 335i, 08 lexus is250 and a B7 A4 2.0T. Four cars in less than two years, three of them at one time. Own a 280k home(in suburb of az 5 mins from mall where homes are cheap, 2500sqft, 9 ft pool, 3 car, palms, in ground trampolene, 4 bedrooms, 25 ft vaulted ceilings/fireplace bamboo floors, 70 LCD all wires shaved, 120 3d projection built into ceiling coming down in front of 50" plasma, 7.1 surround built into walls, on and on), my wife carrys a $15k hearts and arrows solitaire. I'm the son of a poor farmer from oregon, whats up. I own a sports bar in old town scottsdale, Marketing call center and a computer repair shop, made my first six figures when I was 22. I don't expect anyone to care, nor would I ever make a thread like this, lol. I'm also korean if that helps any. My family is poor and we aren't really on speaking terms. I started as a baggy pants wearing 1995 mitsubishi eclipse non turbo driver

EDIT: All my cars paid cash except the 330i originally.

This should be renamed GLOAT thread because the only people starting these threads are in their 20's or teens.

I'm 23 and own 4 cars two of them which are BMW's one 2003 325i paid for and a 2008 E92 335i which i'm still paying for. Also got a 1990 Nissan 300ZX NA and a 1972 El Camino. I love my 335i so much smoother than my 325i.

Lol this is not an ego post. Idk why it seems like that. I just want to get to know some people on here. And honestly you just made yourself look worse than I ever had. I'm grateful for what I've got. But you don't see me walking around flaunting the fact I have a bimmer. Chill out bro

Its really just to shut up some people who think they are all that. Compared to people I know, I'm a nobody. You get these 19 year olds thinking they are all that because they have a bmw. No offense to anyone personally, not saying you're gloating, just seems to be that way usually.

I wasn't really referring to any of your posts specifically, because you have your head on straight and recognize/appreciate what you have. And you're totally right about most people's first reaction to a teenager driving a BMW. I think the fact that an older BMW goes for the same as a new Corolla just makes the perception of a BMW being expensive stronger and a little bit of jealousy or resentment takes over. In any case, enjoy the car, that's why you got it.

AP/honors. An A counts as a 5, and a B counts as a 4. And I have 4 AP/Honors classes
