From proto to production 6-8 weeks.

At this point, there is a decent bit of hesitation on making any new N54/N55 products. There are a few companies on this board that seem to just take whatever we make and knock it off. Not much incentive to invest in/launch new products. I don't like doing R+D for other people, for free.

Needless to say, we have been BURIED in work at the shop, and haven't had much time to work on the E28. I am also trying to get the E30 done for race season, so time is extremely limited.

We pulled the motor back out of the car, swapped cam, pushrods, and a few bits. Headers are making some progress as well, and we also are working on final welding the new firewall and trans tunnel. Initially was going to do a twin turbo setup, but have decided on V-Banded headers, and a single 80mm turbo. So, disregard the T4 collector .

Yep! Shop E30 has been under the knife, building an entirely new setup. 709whp was not nearly enough. We'll be posting progress and pics in this thread. Feel free to ask questions :buttrock

Manifold in progress....

New 1.5" Long-Tube Manifold, on our mockup engine, with a temporary 72mm turbo.

Cutting head apart... We are working on quite a bit of port development for the 24V heads. We may release said port in CNC form this year.

Weldon FPR. Yum!

New billet turbo lands....

New intercooler setup. Decided to get rid of the air water. This new 4.5" thick core is no joke......
