Is there some special trick to stopping the SOS system from freaking out after taking down the dome component, swapping out the lights, and putting it back again?

I have done it before, and I'm fairly familiar, but I had trouble with the SOS system for nearly 30 minutes afterward?

Perhaps is there some trick I can do like unlocking the car and putting the key fob in the house for 20 minutes, similar to what I did with my BMS intake for the ECU to go to sleep?

Please advise.

Because the air sensor plug COULD produce errors, so that is why we did it. WILL it happen? I couldn't be sure, but I just didn't want to take the chance of possibly having to grovel to the dealer

What interior dome did you go with Truk? Any errors? I could use the HPB high powered kit because the LED dome panel kept going out...

What do you mean the SOS light was freaking out? I swapped my dome lights to LEDs and never an error code or problem.

Do you have an E93? The whole dome light area comes out as a module on the E93, and when I changed out my interiors moons ago, when I plugged them back in, SOS would not work- unless it just took a few minutes to "re-pair" with the BMW Assist.

No, I have an E90.....That module you're referring to, are you talking about the whole dome light assembly (map lights, dome light, and all the Airbag and SOS switches) that just kinda pops out as a whole when the inner metal tabs are released? Or?
