Let's not forget the first ECU flash to be released .... EVOTech. A little birdie told me that EVOTech is working on a stage of their flash that would be for their turbo upgrade kit. It's already in testing overseas. Just some things to look forward too ...

Hey guys, Im back for second review!!

Sorry for the delay but I wanted to finish 2 tank of gas, so I can have a better assessment on the MPG gain/loss.

My first tank of gas = 345
Second tank of gas = 375

So average of 360.

Honestly, I am once again very satisfy. At first, like everyone else, I was afraid of the HP gain would lower my MPG. I have to say the $499 flash was worth every penny.

Hey kyle,
I heard the LET flash stage 2 and 3 are still being tested? Harold do you have any info on this??

Dyno was done on LET Motorsport's 135i with intake, Code3IC, DP's, and exhaust.

I will have more info later this week. We have always done road / track / dyno tuning for all of ours flashes, but our track season hasn't started yet, so we still have some tuning to do at the track in April.

The car is rock solid at 14.5 PSI and makes 37x WHP and anywhere from 39x to 41x WTRQ during our sessions. After 2 hours of solid tuning on the dyno, the 135 put down 374Whp / 399Wtrq run after run. Allowing a few minutes between runs yields the same Whp numbers, but >400Wtrq.

We are not using an oil cooler, but one is highly recommended. Code3 Performance will be sending us one soon and we expect that it will help.

BMW hasn't made it easy for us. There are so many changes from MSD80 to MSD81 and from one software version to the next. Each one needs to be tested and adjusted accordingly.

These numbers were made using 93 octane pump gas with no oil cooler.

More info on this Stage 3 flash? Cost? Hardware needed to run it safely?

More info will be posted later along with price. The stage 3 is not finalized yet. There is a potential it can make even more power with more dyno time.

Are you worried at all that your AFR is on the lean side?

There is a local shop that does LET tunes in the Chicago area here, and I wanted to do some research. I saw they are offering a customized stage 2 and 3 flash as well.

Who is doing LET tunes in the area? The guys that did Nebster's? Was his LET?

Yes it was.

Any chance we can see the LET flash on a DynoJet whp/wtq graph?

No, not at all. The AF is actually set a little on the rich side.

Your saying this is with DP and FMIC made 375HP on a MUSTANG DYNO?>

I find that hard to believe.
