ScheerSpeed Detailed: 360FORGED Corvette C6
Red Corvette C6
I was called to come out and inspect this car one day because it had been in a shop and had gotten some overspray that needed removal. Upon inspecting the car, i found there were some light swirls, along with RIDS in a few isolated spots. I decided that a two-stage polishing job would get the car to 99% perfection, and the owner agreed, so i got to work. Cleaning Exterior -Wash -1Z Anti Insekt -CG CWC -Meg's mitt -P21s TAW -Wheels -CG CWC -P21s Gel -P21s TAW -EZ detail brush -Swissvax wheel brush -OXO tire scrubber -ARO -Wheel Wells -Meg's APC+ -DD wheel well brush -Swissvax Wheel brush -über wheel brush Engine -P21s TAW Convertible top -ARO Clay -Special yellow poly clay -ONR lube Polishing -Exterior paint -Menzerna SIP via Orange über pad -Menzerna PO85RD via blue über pad -Makita 9227C -3M Yellow Foam Backing Plate -1000w halogen lights -Brinkmann Dual Xenon -ISA 50/50 wipedown -DD über MF towels -Racatac LSP -Paint -Dodo LPL -Rubbish Boy's OE -Optimum QD -FK1# 425 -CG 530XL MF towels -Wheels -Swissvax Cleaner Fluid -Swissvax Autobahn -FK1# 425 -CG Barebones (wheel wells) -Optimum Opti-bond Engine -Meg's Hyperdressing -Swissvax Autobahn -1z chrome Polish Convertible Top -Raggtopp fabric protectant Glass -Sprayaway glass cleaner Interior -CG Leather Cleaner -Zaino Z10 -1Z Cockpit Before: you can see that the car has some settled dust, and the lower portions including the wheels needed some serious cleaning. Here's what the car looked like after being all cleaned up and after clay bar decontamination. you can see te light swirls and scratches The brinkmann dual xenon light shows the true finish, just like the sunlight, however the metallic red color makes it difficult to photograph. Before/after of the tail lights. the owner requested that i remove the black fire covers A few shots of the perfected finish after polishing And the finished product! The finished engine bay Thanks for looking! Dom |
