Daytime Running Lights

Greetings,

On my (2) 335i's - the DRL or daytime running lights are the inner low voltage lights. I thought the Angel Eyes or Halo rings of the two lenses was suppose to be the DRL -

Both my 335i's are 2008 model years, so did they change it later? Or can I have the inner lights coded to be off and run the Angel Eys instead?

Sorry if this is a dumb question - my 2012E92 M3 has the Angel Eyes for the DRL and it looks so much better than the inner lights on the 335i's.

Thank you,
Merlin

The way they come is the DRL bulb which is separate from the angel eyes. You can code it to illuminate the angel eyes as the DRLs instead.

Yea, it can be coded in.
For now, you should be able to disable the inner yellow lights from DRL via the cluster menu.
