If anyone is interested, let me know. The only deal breaker for some of you may be that it's full cash within three days of winning the auction.

Ohh so a few asked about the auction. Every month or so BMW NA has a factory auction in which they push all the lease turn-in's and trade in's as well. The dealer I go to emails out a list out of all the vehicles with brief description and VIN. I search the VINs and then tell him what cars I want. Narrow it down to several in case your first choice doesn't work out. He charges me $500 over what it fetches at auction and you tell him in advance what your cap is. The auction has a fee of a couple hundred bucks as well. My 2009 328 sport w/ manual tranny, and NAV with 55K cost $19,100. Just under 20grand with the dealer and auction fee.

If anyone is interested in going this route, please PM me. He is willing to do this for ANYONE whom I refer to him!! I am in Nashville, TN for reference.

How strange that your car appears to be pretty well loaded but does not have power seats for some reason.

Nice car anyway. The manual transmission 328s are pretty much a completely different experience from the autos.

Yeah I did notice that. Not sure why that is though.

I have been thinking about doing some minor but tasteful mods. I am not sure the potential of the 328. Not trying to get crazy or else I would have got 335.
Any advice on best set up as far as intake/exhaust/etc?

Also, the CDV delete I have heard about. What are the pro's to removing it? Is it difficult to do?

I don't know what is up with the autos in these cars. I drove many 328/335's that were all auto and ALL of them felt a lot different. A good friend of mine owns a E90 330 that is a manual and every time he is in a 328 loaner he says the same thing. Recently I drove a 335xi auto with just over 1k miles on the odo and it was brutal.

Thanks for info...I'm actually in Dallas/Fort Worth. Might be interested in going this route when ready to buy my first BMW. Do any of these cars come with warranty? Thanks

Cool...I live in DFW area...might be looking to buy a 335i down the road in the coming year. Will be interested in fully loaded with some type of warranty - willing to pay cash. Might PM you later if that's okay. Thanks

No problem. Most of the BMW financial services cars are 1-owner lease returns, so unless they have over 50,000 miles, they are still under factory warranty. They usually have about a year left. Just let me when you're ready and I'll see what I can do.

I do want to note one other thing...of all the deals I've seen, I've never again come across the kind of deal I got on mine. It was kind of the perfect storm for me to get it at that price. So no one should expect that kind of deal, but they certainly far exceed any deal you'd find elsewhere.

No kidding man. You did get deal of century. Based on what I saw available at the most recent auction, nothing compared to what you got for the price! Sweet find dude.
