Another happy customer with DiMisa tips - e90 stock bumper
Just received the tips this afternoon. Rushed over to the muffler shop can got them installed in 30 minutes. In order to meet my requirement, the shop needed to cut the DiMisa tips but I'm more than happy with the outcome. Thanks to JP at DiMisa

This is a pure cosmetic mod, it won't affect the exhaust note.

They look awesome man. But is that that the cut you can see looking straight up the tips? Not an end to end weld, but a Dimisa tip over stock pipe weld, correct? Thanks

Yes, stock pipe size is 2.25 while DiMisa inlet is 2.5, so it goes over the stock pipe easily.

Just give you a side by side comparison between stock and DiMisa.

They welded the whole thing on the car. They used a mirror to see the top side while welding.

Nice! I think 4" tips are the best best for out cars. It fills the exhaust cutout so well.

To the poster who asked about the exhaust note change - I do hear a difference under acceleration and at WOT. It's slight and I like it. You don't get any drone or that fart can sound. Steve |

Hmm... stock ftw if you ask me. 4 inch just doesn't work for me. It just looks like two huge gaping holes now. That's one thing I never really liked about the G35, it's exhaust tips are just too big.
But I dunno, if you guys like it, go for it.

I like the stock tips too, it's perfect size for the car. But if you're into modding, the DiMisa tips definitely attract more attention from the crowd. It's crafted in higher quality stainless than stock tip.

thanks jacob for the positive feedback!
i am not permitted to answer questions directly/or give tech support (forum rules), but i can give opinions... the OEM tips are way to small, period! the 4'' tips are big, no doubt, but i think they fit nicely. i feel they give the car the appropriate massing on the rear bumper. Jacob: I am proud to be in your sig under list of mods!!! l |
