I ended up going with a quad setup on my 328xi coupe as well. I cut the stock muffler, added a magnaflow muffler and piping and the tips. All of this was matched to an mtech rear bumper (made for 335) and a custom quad diffuser. Let me know if you need more pics:

How did you solve the problem with the fuel vapor canister?.. I have done my quad exhaust too but have only really connected one side.. The other side is just the tips because my exhaust shop simply could NOT work around that damn canister.. how did youu do it??.. thanks!!
