Mute wire Logic7 CIC?

I'm planning to install a device that can trigger radio mute (grounding a wire) so one can hear its alerts.

From searching here, it appears the only way with Logic7 on my 2010 E93 (CIC) is to find a harness/device to mute/interrupt the outputs from the amp. I've found harnesses from the UK to plug into Parrot and other phone kits, but I'm not finding anything that simply gives me a mute wire function.

While I continue to search I thought I'd ask if anyone has already done this and if so what particular device(s) you used? It'd be expensive to source various things from the UK just to try and see if they work.

Thanks!
