Where to start!

Hey guys!

Currently have a stock 2011 323i that I'm looking at purchasing rims, tires and suspension this year. I want to make sure I make the right decision before I decide to jump into anything.

My question is... Where do I start exactly?

Thanks!!

1. Budget first!

2. See what others are running (surfing around e90post) for ideas.

3. Decide what you personally like.

4. Purchase.

Where I get confused is... When referring to E90 models I'm under the impression that the fitment on the 323i differs from 328s and 335s. Is this correct?

Only difference is brake clearance which doesn't affect much to you, because your brake are smaller than 335. Of course your LCI has 8mm/side wider rear track compared to Pre-LCI. Which means that Et30 on Pre-lci would be same as et22 on your LCI

I would start from lowering the car and then think about the wheels.

1. Style of the wheel: lip, concave or something else
2. Which size 18 or 19 or 20 inch
3. Do you want staggered or square setup
4. How aggressive specs you want (wheel width and offset)?
5. Do you want stretch & poke or flush with fender setup or basic setup?
6. Do you mind small tyre stretch or do want tyres to be wide as possible.
7. Are you willing to do fender roll and possible other modifications.

Some different examples

This might give you some ideas.
