Polishing/cleaning

Evening about to order some new machine pads and polish.

Haven't really polished the car properly since I've had it. Black e92

What do people use?

I've got a das-6 pro ds polisher

Used to use poorboys then colinite 476(if that's the right number)

Any better recommend?

Thanks tom

I use a kestrel das6 DA ,started off with dodo juice pads and they just fell to bits on anything above speed 4.Now on megiuars soft buff pads for cutting and a non branded waffle for applying polish.Use megiuars ultimate compound and dodo juice supernatural hybrid wax. Also have a black e92

Depends on the scratches , SRP will fill them if you dont fancy polishing them out.

If you do fancy having a go there are loads of products available, just find something you get on with. I use a rotary polisher instead of a DA with Menzerna 2.03 and 3M Orange pads on the BMW as the paint is quite hard. 3M finesse is good as well.

Really is a case of finding something that works for you as not everyone will get on with the same products .

I have a DAS 6 Pro too, and used Hexlogic pads with Schol polish s40 and s17 I think - found this worked the BM paint really well.

Kestrel Das-6 DA
Meguiars Microfibre pads
Meguiars D300
Meguiars D301
Menzerna SF4000

But Im just learning the whole machine polishing thing.

My favourite detailing product I have bought is easily Britemax Spray & Shine Premium Detail Spray. I struggled to find something to suit the Alpine White and found the Britemax to be brilliant, way surpassed my expectations for a quick detailer.

Been using it for about 2 years and love it, luckily get a massive discount as they are a team partner.
