See, I get the double. I can go USA and Italy. I am an American with Italian heritage, so, considering I do not have an intense passion for the sport, to have fun I cheer for both. I was in France when Italy won. Had run out of the bar, scratched that, was chased out of the bar when I cheered when Italy won.

Yea I'm Irish/German and since Germany is the better team I usually go for them even though I'm more Irish...World Cup rules

Right now, SA is 9 hours ahead of PDT and 6 hours ahead of EDT. SA does not observe Daylight Saving Time.

Oh, and GO USA !!! Also rooting for Korea and Germany.

I'm rooting for Italy! My mother and all my grandparents were born there so it's a big thing in my family. They aren't looking as good as in '06 so if somehow USA is still in it and Italy knocked out I'm rooting for them.

yeah i'd like for italy to defend their title but i wouldn't mind if spain or france win either

I watch the English premier league. Go USA! But i like watching lots of other teams play as they have amazing talent including Spain, Argentina, England, etc. Brazil is not as impressive as recent past but it's like an "unimpressive" US basketball team it's still got a pretty good shot.

Cant wait for it to start!!! It was great when I was in college and could just wake up and watch games all day, sucks that I gotta work now!! But I will definitely be cheerin for USA, and then Germany as well.

Does anyone else just get chills when the commercials come on tv?? They are pretty intense haha

The world cup is amazing!! Go Greece haha! On June 12th im pulling an all nighter to watch Greece at 5am here and then USA vs England at noon!!!
