If you:

1) Currently have a competitive tune and want to step up to the Rev.II
or
2) Are in our records as an original PROcede Rev.1 or v3 harness owner (ie, you purchased from us)

... go ahead and click on the $695 link in my sig below or call us directly at 1(866) 584-7531. Phones have been nuts the last few days so on-line ordering may be easier.

I'm sitting on the dyno about to tune a PROcede v3.2 powered Porsche Turbo

Hmmmm I am guessing with the smaller form factor we save at least 1/2lb...so if 100lbs = about 10HP

I am terrible at math...but we should gain something...HELL at least our Butt Dynos should feel something

I know My wallet is a couple hundred bucks lighter...BUT I am stoked about the new tuning parameters the REVII will support.

Just Ordered!

Just ordered upgrade Shiv! sent email to you and Dustin as well.

EAGER instant buyer the second Meth Kits are ready... and the 1/19 beta maps for Stage 3 6AT are so amazing, i am very much looking forward to more functionality going forward with RevII!

Will be going to track this evening for 1/4 mile, trap speed and times with 100+ octane gas... so will finally get to test 'Map 2 Race'!

I'll post a review of all driving impressions with 1/15 and 1/19 maps, and with results from race map this evening.

-Dave

Shiv, what driveability advantages will there be by having auto-tuning/realtime ignition timing monitor?

Thanks

It will allow for maximum power without constantly riding the knock sensor. It will also adjust for octane increases/decreases by adjusting timing, boost and fuel.... NOT just timing.

NICE...a bit more AI is always good, it will be a nice step to reduce the numbers of various maps I assume.

Well you could also look at it as you had several years of use out of your tune....Similar to Consumer Electronics...People who paid $10K+ for 50" plasmas 4 years ago will not get ANY trade in from (pioneer, Sharp, panasonic etc) for purchase of the latest and greatest 60" + Flat screens of today....

just the price you have to pay as an early adopter.

albeit a very good deal, its still hard for someone still on V2 to get the bargain. Yeah, you can sell a PNP Rev I for 400 but what do you think a V2 will fetch? an update harness is $400.

so you dont think the advances made between v2 and v3 rev2 are worth 700 dollars?

1) you do, and then you order v3 rev2
2) you dont, and then you dont order it

its that simple to me. people complain about upgrade expense EVERYTIME shiv comes out with an update. noone is entitled to anything regardless what was discussed/rumored/promised by anyone. its all a part of the game

the fact is, shiv can charge whatever he wants and people can either decide to buy or not to buy and that will determine whether or not he makes money. people can complain all they want but i guarantee shiv is laughing all the way to the bank in his gallardo.

i wasnt talking about Rev I to Rev II upgrade, if you know anything about pricing, you'll know there is something wrong in there. its $400 to buy a V3 on here, its $375 for a V2 to V3 upgrade harness. you want a calculator? Either they overlooked the need to reduce the price of the harness, or they are trying to steer everyone into getting a Rev II. And the $400 price for a used Rev I V3 was suggested by Shiv himself so its not like the market ended up there by itself. And its really not the money, just a notation that something is a little funny.

but thanks for the antagonistic post.

Do the math and you'll know what im talking about.

sry for sounding too antagonistic. very bad mood + these types of posts all the time

i was originally talking about 700 for a brand new revII given that you are a current customer.

sure, ~375 for a harness and 400 for a used v3 revI but youre talking about these v2-v3 harnesses being sold about 1-1.5 years ago. and v2 about 2-2.5 years ago. you cant compare the two
i dont think theres a priority in just selling the harness anymore given the current situation, and the link on their site is probably left over from whenever it was the only option for upgrade. i also doubt they want to keep having to stock parts or make parts for the v2-v3 harness for the handfull of customers interested in buying one.

theres not much of a market for people who just want the v2-v3 harness. people who wanted it, got it last year (like me) and people who are looking for v3 are probably new customers or v3 rev1 customers looking to upgrade to rev2

furthermore v2 customers who purchased a harness early last year and then sold their used v3 rev I to buy a revII for 713 shipped spent about 806 in the end (493 harness+713 revII - 400 selling the used procede)

if YOU just buy a revII out right, you spend 713 shipped. so pretty much, in the end, i spent a hundred bux to use v3rev1 over v2 for a little more than a year.

but for pricing, new stuff came out. old stuff lost value, and theres no coincidence that shiv suggested 400 for a used rev1 which is about the same price as a new jb3 pinout

point taken. but you see my point? its just silly. i'll end up getting a rev II, but then i have a spare PROcede left over. everything went down in price except the harness. weird.

yeah it is weird. i guess objectively looking at price point of the harness, the procede computer is probably worth 25 bux or something haha

i did cannibalize my old v2 harness for spare parts... used the pins to build my hardware 02 sim so i guess you cant go wrong by having extra parts on hand
