so I'm new to actually posting and talking to people on these forums (first post) so figured I'd go this route to say hey first.

well hello! some background, I currently own two BMWs. a 1998 328i complete stock, and a 08 335xi which I plan to slowly work on.

that's it! so if anyone has any tips etc on best routes to go in terms of upgrades I'll be sure to listen. also not quite sure if I can post pics through app or not, otherwise I'd throw some up.

first welcome to the community and on a great car.
if i were you i would start off with the BMS JB4 kit which includes the unit and the dual cone intakes (DCI).

I've been doing a little online search about it when I have time and it seems relatively simple and safe to do. Thanks for the advice!

welcome aboard - be careful, no matter how much you try, the mod bug is very catchy !

thanks for the welcomes! and I probably will get a pretty bad case of this mod bug. which I believe is probably a good thing.

I suggest closed intake, cobb AP, coilovers, and a exhaust.... catless dps, and meth if you are really feeling it down the road.

The mod bug is a good thing if you enjoy feeling like a 5 year old first thing Christmas morning. Because that's how I feel every time I order a part.

It's a terrible thing to your bank account.

Welcome and first mod for any xi should be coilovers (or better shocks/springs combo), tune n then so on.
