Don't know if the dealership will cover it but I am looking for one just in case they tell me to pound sand

Too bad were not in Cali after three failures, the car qualifies as a buy back under their lemon laws. Good luck....

BMW would need to prove that your mods caused the HPFP failure. They can't deny warranty coverage simply because you've modded the car. If you've done a filter/intake/exhaust you should be fine. If you've chipped, you would want to undo that I'd imagine....

In light of the history of issues and their admission of same by extending the warranty period for HPFP issues, I doubt you'd have much trouble.

Last time I had mine replaced I put my top end back to stock, but left my tune, FMIC and DP's on the car. Dealer didn't give me any issues, but I have taken it in FBO for other issues.

Is this for all models or do you have to be in a specific vin range?

OP, just got too much mods to practically remove them before going in.

But my take on dealer-waranty and BMWNA is if you a good customer, like buying many BMWs from new and servicing them at dealership (after the 4-yr maintenance expired) you earn browny points. the more browny points the easier to get good-willl waranty or dealer looking the other way on mods. Else it's roll of a dice.

Yeah the amount of time it would take me to remove my mods and reinstall them it would be cheaper for me to buy a new HPFP and replace it myself. Unless I take it down there as is and see what they say lmao.
