Need a little wheel help...

Guys- I've been debating on wheels for the past few months and I'm at the point where I need your help!
I can't decide b/w 18''s or 19''s! I'm not very knowledgable about diff. wheels/tires. I've searched and read thru hundreds of posts.
My question is, what are the pros/cons of 18''s Vs. 19''s wheels? I live in philly and the roads are HORRIBLE...potholes everywhere. I'm getting a tire replaced tomorrow due to a bubble Does one ride better than the other? Will one hold up to potholes/etc better? I've always had 18''s on all my bmws so I don't know what type of difference to expect, if any????
Thank you all for your input and help.

Well, if your roads are "HORRIBLE" I would stick with 18" unless you can get some forged VOLK, BBS, MORR, NEEZ or any other one-piece forged rim.

18 will have more tire to absord the bumps in the road .. the ride is more comfortable ...

19 fills out the wheel well more since it is a bigger wheel it will not ride as well and if the rim isn't built well, it has a greater chance of damaging the rim since you have less tire wrapped the rim

Like Minipuck's said, 18s will be more comfortable than 19's. People usually go with 19's for looks more than comfort or performance.

Is there a downside to not having staggered setup like stock???... since you don't offer m6 reps in 18''/staggered?
Thanks!

your car is a rear wheel drive ... which means power comes form the rear .. having wider wheels in the rear helps with your car and control

There really is no down side per se. However, as you go up in wheel size (19s and 20s), it's always recommended to go with wider widths as it provides more control and stability. For 18's, it's not necessary to go staggered.
