255/35 Starspecs on 162 wheels?
I've recently bought a set of the stock 162 wheels and I need some tires. I was looking at putting a square setup on them (despite the staggered wheel widths). I've found posts with 255 widths (and other widths) but not all tires are the same. Tire rack says the section width is 10.3 inches, will this work on the front wheels (18x8 +34)? These tires are wider than the stock 335i sport tires and I'm sure they'll fit the rears with little to no issue.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes Should I step down to the 245/40 for all four corners? The section width is 9.8 inches which I know will be better than the 10.3 mentioned above but will that even fit? http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Z1SS&tab=Specs I don't want to add spacers, roll fenders, mess with camber or anything else like that. The car will be lowered soon (most likely Eibach Prokit) so incase that influences your answer. |
