Hey guys, recently got a new exhaust for my car and no longer need the OEM one.

The exhaust is from a 2011 e90 335i and has only 12000 miles on it!
-Because of it being one giant piece, I had it cut into sections; however, the cuts are very clean so any welder should have no problem with it. Pictures are here: http://min.us/m0yTJRdQMnTGL

Price is negotiable and I am fairly flexible....$500 if local, $500 plus whatever shipping will be to you.

Item is in Salt Lake City and is packaged and ready to ship.

$400 is still too high for this part....even though it costs $3000 from the dealer, it's going rate used (on the net) is about $200 + shipping. Hope this helps.

If you look, I'm charging 400 total for everything shipped. The shipping alone is almost 200 dollars due to the weight and pieces. This isn't just once piece either. This is everything from the end of the down pipes to the the muffler tips. So I think 400 shipped is a very fair price.

how r u shipping it? i never shipped mine because no places (USPS, UPS...etc) will take it. Its over the dimensions in length and they said it needed a crate and that it would cost like $800. Local trucks were asking $700 to the east coast too.

yeah, I got that, I can read. It's a full cat back....we understand that to.

I'm surprised that shipping would be that much with it cut up. Check a frieght company, might be less.

I guess you got no takers locally? I would not have cut it up unless I absolutely had to.

I looked at the pics again and this seems to be an E92 exhaust, not an E90. Was that a typo? secondary cats are gone as well?

Secondary cat? No this is an e90 exhaust. It came off my car after I replaced it with an AA exhaust. This is not an e92 exhaust. Thanks for question.

I've checked multiple carriers and the quotes have ranged from 120-200 dollars. In the pictures you can see how it is cut. Very cleanly and easy to weld. It is in two boxes. All ready.

To make this a little easier to understand. Let me explain this again. This is the full exhaust off an e90. You have mufflers/tips, the H pipe section and the section after that. 3 total sections that were cut very cleanly for easy transport and shipping. Otherwise the expense would have been astronomical. This off a 2011. Has approximately 12000 miles on it even though that is irrelevant. Any questions feel free to post.

there's 4 cats on any E9x exhaust. 2 in the DPs and two on the mid pipe section; those are the secondaries.

E90's have an large resonator, E92's have the X pipe, which is shown in your pics. I own an E90 and know the exhaust very well as I have modified it.

Someone had an E92 exhaust on your car, with secondary cats cut off. That's what I see in the pics and it's pretty clear.

The exhaust is cut well and boxed well, never said otherwise.

Your very wrong man. Very wrong and I'm sorry to be so blunt about it. My car was bought brand new and picked up via euro delivery. There is no way it's an e92 exhaust. E92 exhaust does not fit on an e90. Second of all there is no large resonator on an e90 exhaust. Maybe you got jipped, I don't know. Third the e90 looks to have an x pipe originally but it's actually an H pipe originally of you examine it. You can pronounce your expertise but I know my stuff to. I think your mistaken.

Also the fact that you may have an older model could be what has you mistaken but please don't post what you say is right when it is not.

First of all it's still not an x pipe it's a h pipe. And that exhaust I can already tell you is not from the model year my car is. You ever thing they changed the exhaust when they switched over to the N55? Furthermore nothing was cut off and removed. All the pieces for perfectly back together if you lined up. There were and never are secondary resonators/cats whatever on my exhaust. What MY is your car? Also if you notice the difference between the old 335i exhausts and the new ones, they used to have chrom tips versus now they have polished tips. Also how I know that exhaust predates mine.
