Seems like an 'OK' deal... but maybe on the high side.
My brother just picked up a 2010 CPO 335i Sedan Alpine White M-Sport with Saddle Brown leather, NAV, Backup sensors with 28k miles on the clock for $33k. I picked up a 2010 335i Sedan CPO Alpine White Sport w/ NAV and comfort Access, 35k miles on the clock for $31.5. Both from the dealer. $28k seems a little high for a 2008 even with the low mileage. I'd see if you could get them down to at least 26 and if not, pass.

Wow thanks for all the replys guys. Ppi revealed a slight misfire in the first cylinder so hes taking it in monday to get fixed. They said it was a sensor supposedly so when its done im going to go there and talk to the service manager and make sure the mods are all covered before i buy.
Its a coupe, btw. And i believe the 08 m tech package was a dealer installed option, i could be wrong. Alot of the prices you guys are throwing out are for non msports. How much do u think the msport affects the value? |

And its a one owner car. He leased it new and then financed it after. Mods were done before the cpo.

the 2008 car you're looking at is not an M-sport car (ZMP). the dealer installed m-tech pieces should not add any value. look at similar equipped cars (condition, options & packages, mileage, CPO, etc.) to get a feel for the market. i found that autotrader and cars dot com are the best (especially cars.com - they have a great advanced search that allows you to really drill down to what you're looking for!). here is an example of a 2009 ZMP 6M car with similar miles compared to the 2008 car you're looking at: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...&&aff=national Great stance! I looked at this car earlier in the year. I can't find anything wrong with it (NICB, carfax, etc.). I think it is the lowest mileage to price ZMP car out there right now. The ZMP package was not available until 2009. i do think that this package adds some value - if only because of the limited availability to choose from: Option 'ZMP' M-Sport Package (E92 MY 2009-2010) 2MF 18" M Light Alloy Star-spoke wheels (Style 193M) with mixed performance tires (18x8.0, 225/40 R18 front and 18x8.5, 255/35 R18 rear) or 2MP 19" M Light Alloy Double-Spoke wheels (Style 225M) with mixed performance tires (19x8.0, 225/35 R19 front and 19x9.0, 255/30 R19 rear) 481 Sport seats 710 M steering wheel or 7XA M Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters 715 Aerodynamic kit 760 Shadowline exterior trim 775 Anthracite headliner 840 Increased top speed limiter Option 'ZSP' Sport Package (E92 MY 2009-2010): 2K6 Light alloy wheels V-spoke style 342 with mixed tyres (18x8.0, 225/40 18 front and 18x8.5, 255/35 18 rear) or 2R4 19" wheels w/performance tires (style 230) (19x8.0, 225/35 R19 front and 19x9.0, 255/30 R19 rear) 481 Sport seats 760 Shadowline exterior trim 840 Increased top speed limiter

Yeah ask the buyer if you can take it to a bmw certified shop just to check it out and make sure everything is good.

Technically, rates as low as they are make financing a great option. You can get used car loans at 1.99%, chances are you will earn more than that with a balanced asset allocation.

buyers are there..
I have a 08 m tech coupe 335 and have been offered cash $30, 000 several times because it has 22K miles on it. It has saddle interior with white exterior.
So it all depends, some people are obsessed with the n54 engine. I personally would pay 10-15% percent more to get the exact car I want... |
