Nafoo bucking the trend and being nice and informative? WTH is wrong with you?! Jk.
Search is your friend. Thumbs down on Akrapovic. Looks beautiful but I believe they're not even 3". And at that price, Eek. |

To some the best might be a downpipe that offers performance only. Or maybe has a cat option. Or maybe the materials used or quality of the pipe. or quietest. or sound. I'm sure there is enough information for the OP in here to decide. |

We've installed many different brands at our shop from AR downpipes to eBay downpipes and overall our tech has been satisfied with the price AND fitment of the Macht Schnell downpipes.

I highly doubt that. The majority of the owners here are more concerned about retaining their warranty and being close to stock like than going with an all out approach. And we still don't know what the pricing of that kit will be.

And the bigger irony is how many spare parts will be for sale when those same cars end up wrapped around trees. I don't know about anyone else, but 600+ hp in a 3700 lbs car makes me nervous on the streets. IMHO, that kind of power in the hands of an underskilled driver is asking for trouble.

Def agree with your point that 600+ WHP is way too much for the non-M3 E90s out there (unless you heavily modify the chassis, suspension, brakes, tire setup, but even then the traction control is gonna be manhandled by that kind of power). As far aw warranty, a lot of cars will be coming out of their original purchase (4 yrs/50k miles) from 2008 so we'll see, price probably will be the biggest variable in whether or not the single-turbo becomes a realistic mod
