What setting do you have your coilovers set at?

I'm getting mine installed this weekend and was wondering what everyone else is running...I like mine a little stiff so I'm thinking to set mine on the stiffer side.

Just curious what everyone is running.

its all personal preference dude! just tell the shop more less what your looking for and make sure they show u how to adjust them!!
Ive spent lots of time getting em the way i like em! but damb u can ask several members my shit is plush and im slammed!
BUt it takes time to get it like that just telling u what setting and what not wont do shit for u u need to see how they feel yourself!

How do you guys with the V2 adjust the dampening on the struts? The strut tower is in the way.

I also wish to know how to adjust the dampener, and how do you turn to make it stiffer or softer as there are no numbers or anything to indicate that on the top of the strut tower.

the coilovers with come with a book and all the necessary tools that show u how to adjust the settings...
but you got them from creative so who knows if the keys were included or not

^The book that it came with was not very helpful. I have the two knobs that came with the package, but I don't know how to apply them to the coilover to make adjustments.

u get the big metal keys for the rear??
yes the book is very helpful maybe ur not understanding it!! u dont need to use those round keys for the front! yes the strut bar is in the way to use those!
u must use the little allans that are in the same bag to adjust your dampening

Just to avoid confusion:

The KW V2 did not come with a BOOK. It came with a couple pamphlets which were pretty much worthless. 3/4 of it was in German.

Also, the "big metal keys" are used for adjust the FRONT coilover height. The rear height adjustment requires you to remove the control arm bolt which allows you to remove the spring for adjustment. The instructions specifically state that you need to remove the rear spring in order to adjust the heigh for the rear. The big metal keys are not used in the rear at all.

LMAO!! WOW!!! if the pamhplet was useless..the why do the "instructions" clearly state that u need to remove the rear spring in order to adjust it!!
U know installing these on 3 cars of my OWN know!! I would say I know what im talking about!
Adjusting the front doesnt require any tool at all to adjust the height! just undo the allen set and turn it with your hands its really easy!!!
Adjusting the rear YES can be done with the metal keys whether or not your suppost to or not they WORK!!! if your fine tuning and have taking that spring off over 5 times in a hour like me youll find a turn i not worth 20 min of dropping the control arm and fucking with it more!!
so OBVIOSLY the instructions arent WORTHLESS!! yes alot is in german but the main points of install are on there u just need to open your eyes!!

Sure.

I said the instructions were "pretty much worthless" but I guess you decided to ignore that part and just focus on the negative. The part of the instructions that did make sense specifically stated that the rears springs needed to be disassembled to adjust the height, so i don't know what book you were reading. But then again, I am not litereate in German. You're German is probably better than mine.

Bottom line, the instructions could have been a lot better. We have different ways of doing things and I just thought I was clearing things up.

hey buddy, so you're saying you dont have to remove the rear spring? if so, this saves me some hassle...ive never had to do it before on my own but wanna give it a shot this spring. i want to adjust the height, rebound and dampening (v3).

yo if you are going to adjust more than a couple threads then id suggest taking taking it out! but a turn or two will not hurt with it installed!
YES honestly i do find it easier to remove the 1 control arm bolt and drop it down but thats 15min and when uve done it 5 times in a day ull find a little twist of a key is bit easier at that point!

Also as a guide line for those who will be installing this in the future. We've estimated that 1 finger gap is about 7perches. So say you want to the front to be a finger gap higher, you would raise the car up another 7 perches or so.
