E92 335i Dyno result

Hi guys, here are my results of the dyno session I had at Alan Jefferies Enginetuner in Plymouth today.

i've got the following mods;

JB4 G5 (Map 5)
VSRF Catless downpipes
VSRF FMIC
BMS DCI's
BMS N54 Chargepipe
Forge DV's
Stage 1 Hybrid Turbos
Quad Exit back box

Cae run on Shell V-power 99

Dyno Dynamics 4wd dyno. All runs were in 4th gear (MT)

So using the autotuning in Map 5 (boosting to around 15psi) it made 429.5bhp and 490lb/ft and the crank.

Whose turbos? I'd hope for more with hybrids... Only 10-15hp more than stock turbos.

On a dyno I'd be running map 2 for consistency. You might want to consider a back end flash too..

They were built by The Turbo Unit.
What torque do stock turbos usually make?
Do you think Map 2 would of produced better results then over Map 5?

What spec are the turbo's? Still a nice result but as Phil said would of expected more.

Just a mild stage1 with slightly larger billet compressor wheels.
I'll try Map 2 next time.

Very good torque to be honest.

I suspect you had a slight timing drop (from autotuning) in the mid range and this impacted the peak number. To be honest dynos don't reflect the road all that well...

I reckon with a back end flash (free software) you could get a very nice gain.. More so with meth!!

Unfortunatly i didnt log the runs it was all a bit of a rush tbh.

I'm I'm new this year to the 335i N54 motor so I'm not looking to wring the neck out of the engine as I don't think the clutch will take much more tbh, but would be interested in the backend flash in the future maybe, what sort of gains can be made?

A friend runs Meth on his Audi S4 and rates it highly

Not stock clutch

With 490lb ft it'll have a limited life.. Mine made 510lbft and I replaced the clutch soon after!! Now running a spec stage 2+ Clutch and all good..

Not really...

Just owned the car along time and experienced most of the n54 weak spots!! Plus I've pushed things hard.
