Quad exhaust seems more quiet?

I got some quad exhaust tips installed today and it seems like my car is quieter? I had the plug tee mod where i unplugged the wire and it made my car louder which i liked alot but now that i changed to the quads it sounds like stock again. Is this because of the tips?

Are the tips plain inside? Or they have little holes?

there plain its just a simple Y tip pipe
