ECU Performance Tuning

Just wondering if you guys have any place you recommend to get a ECU performance tuning in the GTA area? I am about to install the 3 stage intake and need to get the software tuned for it so I am trying to figure out anywhere to go locally. This is for a N52 engine with 3 stage intake.

For the AA tune it's Bimmersport. For the Eurocharged tune it's Eurocharged Canada. Both tunes are roughly the same based on what I've read. I'm personally leaning towards Eurocharged cause it's closer to me and I believe they do free re-tunes.

Call Vlad at Euro Charged. He charges $599 I believe for N54, but I'm not sure for the N52's.

However, it's true; he does retunes free

Just installed my 3IM and went to Eurocharged to get the tune on the N52. Cost $450+HST. Took 1hr to read the car's ECU then probably 30min for them to mod it and another 15min to flash the tune. They said it was going to be E90 ECU software from Japanese (suppose to be more efficient) and they do the custom calibration base on that.

Overall thoughts after installing it, they got rid of the dead band on the throttle, for sure feels more torque, and smooth acceleration throughout the band.

Did you drive it with your 3-IM before the tune? Any difference from that alone? Trying to determine if the tune helped smooth out the power curve when each of the IM actuators engage.

In my 323i (comes with 3-IM I feel the distinct moment when each one activates, want to smooth it out a bit more).

Is throttle response close to instant now? Are you MT/AT?

I have auto. Drove it a few hours before getting the tune. For sure the throttle response has improved hard to say if it is instant in normal drive mode on sport mode it is better. My tires also seem to make the car sluggish on start but after the tune it feels more instant.

The tune also smooth out the power curve. Less or not noticeable around the 4500rpm for me.
