Pittsburgh BMW Meets

Are any BMW dealerships in Pitt open on the weekend? Where do you guys take your cars for service? New to the area, don't know anyone, would like to meet up!

I doubt your gonna find a service department open on the weekends, but I take my to Bobby Rahal in the South Hills. Its about 15-20 miles south of the city.

I think everyone is ready to meet, but finding a time has posed a problem! Im game whenever though

You should be fine...I have my taillights completely blacked out and just had inspection a couple of weeks ago and all was good

I have 35% tint all around (except the windshield),and I got mine inspected at the dealership, they never said a thing.

Yea you were from Texas right?
Well unfortunately most dealerships service departments are all closed on weekends.
I take mine to BOBBY RAHAL BMW in McMurray PA
I would love to meet up sometime.

I decided to keep my wheels.

Now that I'm setting up shop here I have to see what I can get away with and which dealers turn a blind eye towards these types of things, I've heard Rahal is more lenient towards mods than A & L but I've never interacted with either.

It sounds like quite a few take it to Bobby Rahal. I'll probably end up there sooner or later. I called around to most the dealerships and finally found one (downtown) that I didn't have to schedule out 2 weeks in advance. You guys must be crazy busy up here, I'm not used to not being able to take it in same day!

Hopefully, I'll get the hpfp fixed then the goodies go back on

car is at A&L gettin the HPFP problem "FIXED" and along with a few other minor things. Prob wont have the car back for another week =(. Goin into the body shop Aug. 18th for a a new paint job =)

I bought the car at Rahal which as others have noted moved farther south which is why I take it to P&W which is literally down the street.

I have tint also but it is only 50% VLT, I read something about case precedence where basically its up to the officer to determine if it is difficult to see inside the vehicle, no set limit on % of tint as in other states. I've had tinted vehicles for 11 years (in Pittsburgh) and never once had a problem, comment, or complaint by anyone.

What dealership is downtown? I thought P&W was the closest unless you consider Sewickley.
