North Boston Alignment Shops that can do lowered cars...

Can anyone recommend a shop that can perform alignments on lowered cars? I went to NTB in Waltham (suggested by Eastside Motoring) but they said that they couldn't get my car on the lift because it was too low...I don't consider myself slammed either! ha!

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you PM me the price of the alignment...guess I shouldn't be stingy since there's not too many places that can align a lowered car.

I've had lowered cars aligned at Direct Tire in Watertown. Just let them know you're lowered and they'll ask how much of a drop you have and take that into account in the alignment. They give you a printout with the factory specs and your before/after values. They also have a coupon on their site too for $25 off an alignment which I believe would make it <$100. I'm actually going to be there on Saturday morning getting my alignment done!

Good looking out. I have gone to the one in Watertown before for my lowered G35...not sure why I forgot that. Thanks!

Just called up Direct Tire and they were quoting $200-$300 for an alignment!

FasTrack for the win!

NTB - Tried but couldn't get it on the lift...would have be $65!
DirectTire - $200-$300
Kaizen Tuning - $125
FasTrack - $99

I guess lowered cars are considered their performance alignment rate which is $99. That is fine with me. Monday appt set...Peabody...here I come!

Thanks everyone!

FasTrack is a great shop, they'll also set you up to your custom specs if you have them!

No clue what specs I would want them in so I'll let them decide. As long as the ride is smooth and I don't have uneven wear on the tires then I am cool with it.

And you are lowered? I mentioned to them that I was lowered and that's when they were like...well that's going to be $200 (Watertown) and $200-$300 (Peabody). I guess they were all worried about taking more time to get it on the lift so that they do not destroy anything on my car.

I am but I'm on Eibach pro-kit springs so it's a really mild drop. I haven't had any issues with getting my car on lifts.

That's definitely it. The Pro-Kit is a 1" drop at most right? I think the setting that Eastside put it in made my front go down 2" and my rears 1.5" and I have a front lip.

Yeah, it's 1" in front and I think 0.8" in the rear. You're clearly a lot lower than me so that explains it.

Details? As long as they were upfront with you and took care of the issue then I am fine with that. Shit happens...what matters is whether or not the company steps up and takes care of it without putting up a front.

Just got back from FasTrack...let me tell you that I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone interested in some great customer service.

I went in for my 1pm appt. and Scott (co-owner) was backed up working on a mustang all morning and said that it would be a 30-45 minute delay. I was slightly disappointed but I know that shops are busy during this time (weather gets nicer out) so coming from a customer service oriented background, I was ok since he was upfront about it and the "vibe" I got from him was an honest one. So off I go to Dunkin Donuts to get a bagel and coffee. Got back to the shop and fired up the laptop and did some work. They were able to get my car in at 1:45pm. Scott apologized profusely for the wait but I told him I understood. I decided to ask him how much it would cost to raise up my coilovers in the rear since it was tucked in pretty good and he told me that he would do it free of charge! I was completely shocked and said, AWESOME. So he adjusted it and asked me to come take a look. It is slightly tucked now but not extreme like before. I love it now and its all nicely aligned. The icing on the cake was that I thought it would be $99 for the alignment...he actually only charged me $65! I shook his hand and told him that he just earned a life time customer as long as the service was this top notch and would refer his shop to anyone that was looking for great service. A+ FasTrack!

Employee I worked with: Scott Rosnik
Company: FasTrack Automotive, Inc.
Website: http://www.fastrackservice.com/index.html

Thanks Rob (Cyphr) for referring me to them.
