PDC Volume Pre LCI
MSport 320d 2007
Pro head unit and BT no Idrive I have searched yet found no answer. My rear PDC volume level can this be turned up at all? (I know its adjustable in the LCI) to me it seems really quite and I am slightly hard of hearing so this maybe way that its just within the range where my hearing is really naff, yet I really struggle to hear it. Open to suggestions? Thank you in advance

whilst the radio is on, press the sound adjustment button, the one with a treble clef symbol, the level adjuster comes up there with bass , treble, balance etc

thanks for the reply, yes it does, yet nothing for the PDC on mine, I know on later ones it does, in my E46 it was nice and loud and I could hear it, yet the E90 i really do struggle, I may ask at my dealers when i am there next

Errrm, easy....
Pre or post LCI for all sounds, just turn the volume knob whilst the sound you want to adjust is actually sounding..... I.e. Get the PDC beeping i.e. close up to a wall, then turn the volume dial up/down whilst PDC is beeping, this will adjust the PDC beep. Works for seatbelt and fuel bongs etc, phone ringing volume, phone in-call volume, PDC bongs, door open bongs etc etc... Last edited by doughboy; 08-02-2013 at 05:29 AM.. |

Do you have a coding cable? Might be something you can do with ncs. Just a guess though as I have never even looked at that. I believe you can code them lower for after audio upgrades so I would imagine you can code them louder too.

Nope no coding cable, I wonder if any of the coders here know if anything can be done as then its a route I would follow.
Have to say I am glad now I have posted this that I am not the only one who struggles a bit to hear it.

PDC Volume
I've always thought the volume was too low, so tried simply turning the volume up - via the Pro radio - whilst the bong was going off .... and it worked. Mine's a pre LCI E92.
