Question On Facebook Setting...

im a newb on fb, but is there a way to let only me or specify who can see my friends?

for example if i got a guy from work on fb and i don't want my other friends (highschool, hangout, etc) to see him, is there a way to block or something?

things can get real messy if my casual friends can see/talk to workplace and business networking people.

basically is there a way to keep friends from seeing my other friends? hope this makes sense, help much appreciated (cough colin & jay

)...

Account > Settings > Privacy Settings >Customize Settings (at the very bottom)

You can set up anything and everything there as you please including "Can see Wall posts by friends" option.

doesn't that option just disable people not seeing posts that my friends make?

like is there a way to hide/not show the guy from work from my other friends on fb who look at my friends page?

If you have friends on FB whom you dont want to be able to see your work colleagues because they may act like ass clowns, it would be time to delete them on FB.

don't think you can hide your friends list on FB.

I just don't add anyone from work to keep my work and personal life separate. Tell them to add you on Linked-In instead.

If you go to the Friends page, you can create friend groups, then specify certain permissions for those groups

woah woah woah... This sounds like work. I don't go on facebook to work.. I go on it to stalk hot friends of friends for bathing suit pics.

I don't have a single co worker on FB, but I know most of them have it.

LinkedIn = Biz related contact and exchanges

Facebook = People you want to fling poo back and forth with on a daily basis.

yea linkedin looks nice. i was hoping there was an option for this so i can just use one account.

i think ill be making 2 face book accounts 1 for business and other for social. i dont fb that often just want to keep contacts around.

the friends in one group can't check out the friends in the other grp?
