major milestone

hit the big 100k today, got me thinking, what is the highest mileage E9* on the forum? i expect there will not be loads, probably not many people do serious mileage...

show me what you have got!!
And yes, i have still not fixed the thermostat thing to get it running hotter, so i am currently averaging about 37mpg!!

My car is just 3 years old and has 16,006 miles. 5335 miles a year.

Waste of a good car really.

66k '06 plate.

I've had it since Jan 09 and bought it with 34k so I've done 14,700 miles per year..
Bit shocking when I think about it like that!!

oh i bet there are 200k+ mile ones out there, but i think enthusiast cars (ie people here) are typically much lower, as we have seen above. its quite rare i think, that people like me own, mod, talk geek about etc their "company car"

My Dad's old mk3 GTi was 5 years old when he bought it and had 7k miles on it! It was actually pretty bad news - quite a few bits had perished/died and needed replacing. My higher mile one (we both had mk3 GTi 16vs at the same time as did my Mum!!) was a lot more reliable.

Wonder if there are any 200K + E9*s around?

I got mine in July last year and already has 12,000 miles on it....

May go for a drive to the Norwegian arctic circle in summer arctic circle so that could make it 20,000 private miles in a year....

I am sure I saw your car coming out of the industrial estate in Marlow a while back, would have been about 5pm. I was on the MTB.

I put 90k on my 2006 330d in 3 years, current 335i now on 59k (had 25k on when bought in Oct 2009). They wear the miles very well.

I've also just passed 100k. A week starts for me on a Monday, and week to date I've done nearly 1,100 miles with about another 800 to go before the end of the weekend!
