^^ The wheels stuck out too much for his liking.

@hoisumguo- I was going to throw on 18mm too but I am pretty positive it will rub if you dont roll your fenders. With my 15mm if my spring is compressed the tire barely clears the fender, (by like 1-2mm).

I'm lowered and my fenders are rolled. I had 18mm in the back, but switched to 15 for doily diving. I trimmed the fender liners also.

Improved it a bit. Front and rear are now flush with the outside of the fender. Biggest difference was from bringing the rear out which helped balance out the higher front. Just makes the rears look "not so tucked in".

19' 313 Wheels & 275/30/19 Tires

I have been getting alot of inquiries about my 275/30/19" tires fitting the BMW 313 Wheel style.

My current tire setup are Nitto NT555 Tires 235/35/19 front, 275/30/19 rear. There is absolutely NO RUBBING. I still have more room to upsize to a 245/35/19 front; 285/30/19 rear tire and it WILL NOT RUB. However it was recommended not to go with this size tire on a 19x8 or 19.9 wheel as there will be too much stress on the side walls of the tire. If the BMW 313 style wheels were 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 it would be ok if it maintains the same offset as the stock 313 19"

The current offset of the BMW 313 wheel style is 37mm front and 39mm rear.

Here are some pics:

If you can, fill your tires up with nitro.

Tire preasure I use is 32 psi front and 35 rear.

Please note: The BMW tire preasure on the driver side door panel only applies to stock RFT tires

Yep its the new version w/the yellow spings and yes i'm still running the rft's (unfortunately). The ride is a little more harsh than it was on my '08coupe. I will be upgrading to the michelin pilot sport supers in the next few weeks so hope it will tame it down a bit. night and day diff in handling from the '08 though, so i know the suspension was a good choice for a factory upgrade. especially with the right semi-agressive alignment.....

Hey BuraQ, what are your thoughts on the Nittos compared to the Michelins? i imagine the price is much better on the Nittos?

I think i prefer the look w/the spacers even with the large fender gap. it may be an illusion but it seems to dimish the gap size. hmmmm...

Pricing was much better on the Nittos. I have never had Michelins so I cannot comment on performance quality.

Decided to remove the spacers and go for a suspension upgrade instead. The gap is just killing me for some reason. Posted for sale if anyone is interested. Almost $60 cheaper than I paid a week ago.

Good choice, suspension should always take place over spacers. 335iS owners DO NOT need spacers on this car.

The wheel offset will accommodate a 275/30/19 for the rear with no problem and no rubbing while being able to keep the rear at that height, or drop it 0.5" more, which is already low. The front is what needs lowering.

I think I will contest the 285/30/19 as room and clearing is not an issue other than if the tire walls on this size wheel will be safe.
