Chicago Guys--JB3 Help
So I have another month or so left on the upgrade policy (from JB+), and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the JB3 PNP. Problem is, I don't have the stones to attempt the install solo. Anyone in the city that is running this that wouldn't mind showing me the ropes on the install? Beer can be provided for your troubles! I need to get good at taking it out, etc as well for service so a helping hand is the way to go.

On a more serious note, I understand your reservations about getting in there and messing around with things, but it shouldn't be incredibly confusing with the PnP version. If you're unsure about exactly where something goes, or how it goes in there, just hop back on the forum or look at the directions a couple more times, until you've got it mentally, and then proceed. Hoping the (rhymes with need) comes after the install.... |

the PnP versions of the procede and jb3 are pretty simple if you just watch the video (not sure what the directions provided for the jb3 are)
took my friend and I about 15 mins to do

Hmmmmm, deal you say? I'm going to have to be really honest, I don't know sheet about the LET flash...I'm gonna go google my balls off and see what's up. Do any of you guys have it? I'm a little hesitant since so many people that have the Dinan hate it...

Don't be fooled just cause some are having problems with the dinan doesn't mean all are. I love my dinan and couldnt be happier. But Nebster has stg one LET flash. I'm sure he'll be more than willing to give you a ride

Yea I was thinking that too but i'll reserve those LET questions for Nebster. He knows all about the stages and can give you first hand account on the delivery of power.

I just looked it up, and it looks like to get Stage 2 you need a whole mess of things that I don't have
There are some recommended hardware for the Stage 2 to see optimum results: * A good front mounted IC such as the Code3 Performance unit (way too $$$) * High flow replacement panel filter or a high-flow intake kit (easy enough) * Cat-back exhaust (my dealer would void my warranty before the garage door closed behind me) The Stage 1 looks nice, up to 44hp and 37 ft/lb gain - Up to 80hp and 80 ft/lb gain on Stage 2 Only thing is, I'm making 44hp off my JB+ and it was 1/2 the price....If I could get Stage 2 I would, but not for the price of the IC and Cat back... Nebster, am I reading into all of this correctly? I'd love some input |
