No rear pdc or reverse lights. Have already replaced switch.

Evenin, all!

I have a 2009 E91 318i LCI manual with (rear only) pdc and no i-drive.

My reverse lights and pdc are not working. When using the stereo audio settings I can access the pdc volume. The radio goes loud (odd) and then I can adjust the volume of the pdc beeps.

But, when I select reverse I get no pdc beeps and no reverse lights. My first thought was the reverse switch, which i have just this minute replaced with no luck and I'm gutted.

any ideas, gang?

Cheers!
chris.

Well you know my car has a wrap, i've been getting annoying parking sensors error. Sometimes the front works but the rear doesn't or vice versa. I got fed up aland removed the wrap on one sensor and i never had a problem lol. So yeah the car looks werid now with both jetwash cover gone and one pdc sensor is silver !!

Bump....

I have replaced the reverse switch, I have tested both reverse light bulbs and have checked and tested fuses 7 and 63..

I couldn't remove the rubber boots going to the rear "hatch" but did try a good wiggle with the car in reverse and the ignition (not engine!) on.

Before I take it to the local "specialist", do you have any ideas of other simple fixes, gentlemen?
