More clearence at the front wheel

My car has a lot more clearance between the front wheel and the wheel arch than the rear wheel and the wheel arch. Would there be any problem with running a 20mm spacer up front and 15mm spacer in the rear if there's no rubbing while driving over bumps or when on full steering lock?

I have read on drift forums that this can make the back end more lively.

Anyone?

20mm front, 15mm rear?

I have some 15mm spacers coming on Tuesday. Around corners I felt the back end is more lively. It might be me but I think the increased grip can really be felt!

Wheels look pretty sweet though!

ah, just thought. I've got brand new rear wheels on. I guess they take a while to scrub in?

Even with 15mm at the back I still have a bit of rubbing on the left side over bumps!?

Now that the tyres have broken in a bit the car seems happier in the turns but I have the 15mm to go on the front now.

Finally got the second set of 15mm spacers for the front. Running 20mm at the front felt very twitchy at the rear. Great for drifting I imagine but felt dangerous at speed. Car is now square again and feels solid. It's amazing what a difference 10mm can make!

I think this is the spec

19x8 37 225/35R19 19x9 39 255/30R19

37 front
39 rear

Running 15 all around, car feels great. Completely stable again. I can't believe how big an impact it has!

I wanted 20mm at the back but it's constant rubbing with my set of Hankook tyres
