Extended wheel bolts question
So I have decided to run 10mm spacers in the back. Since I had wheel locks with OEM set up I want to buy extended wheel locks for spaced set up as well.
So, OEM bolt is 25.5mm. McGard sells 31.8mm and 40.4mm versions. 31.8mm is too small, +6.3mm (spacer is 10mm), BUT 40.4mm is too big, +14.9mm, extra 5mm. So my question is, will OEM hub accommodate extra 5mm? How deep does it go? Say if you were to screw in OEM bolt all the way in without wheel attached, will it stop at some point or will it be flush with hub (meaning it is deeper than 25.5mm)? All this could be easily tested and thoroughly measured, but I don't want to wait until weekend to do it. |

I would try and get the correct bolts, whether they come from McGard or another vendor.
RAD locks makes some that will work. http://otisincla.com/index.php?route...roduct_id=1094

RAD makes bolts in varying lengths to fit any application and I love that, BUT, their locking bolts would stand absolutely no chance against something like this:
